Clover Hill Vineyards and Winery is a family run operation and one of Pennsylvania’s largest wineries. We're located in Breinigsville, a small community approximately one hour north of Philadelphia and one hour west of New York City. Clover Hill maintains six different vineyard sites within the counties of Berks and Lehigh for a total of 70 acres of vines, and annually produces wine on site in a modern winemaking facility with cooperage in excess of 120,000 gallons. Wines are sold through Clover Hill’s four retail locations and also are available statewide through the Pennsylvania Wine and Spirits Shoppes and several grocery store chains.

Part-Time Retail Sales

Clover Hill Vineyards & Winery is hiring for Part-Time Retail Sales Associates for locations at The Winery in Breinigsville and The Vineyard in Robesonia. We need wine-loving, people-friendly individuals! Hours can vary, but some weekend work is required. Candidates must be 21+ years old.

Lawn Care and Landscaper

Clover Hill Vineyards and Winery is looking for an energetic person to help maintain the grounds at our vineyards and winery properties during the growing season (through the end of October). Individuals must be strong, hard working and energetic and able to function as a team or work individually. Grounds maintenance duties entail: mowing (vineyards and finished lawns) weedwacking, spraying and weed removal, bed maintenance and tree maintenance. Previous Lawn and Landscaping experience is preferred. Individuals MUST be experienced with zero turn mower operation and maintenance as well as know how to operate weed wackers, leaf blowers, push mowers, backpack sprayers and chainsaws. Hourly rate is $14 per hour.

Winery/Vineyard Assistant

The job description for this full-time position covers many areas of the winery and vineyard operations. Previous experience is not required, however a strong agricultural background and willingness to learn is a necessity.

Winemaking Responsibilities Include:

• Harvest Activities: Fruit Receipt, Crushing and Pressing, Juice Adjustment and Fermentation
• Cellar Activities: Racking, Fining, Cold Stabilization and Filtration
• Barreling
• Lab Analysis and Record Keeping
• Bottling

Vineyard Responsibilities Include:

• Pruning and Tying
• Spraying (Herbicides and Air Blast)
• Mowing with a zero-turn mower
• Growing Activities: Shoot Positioning, Leaf Removal and Cluster Thinning
• Vineyard Maintenance/Trellis Repair
• Vineyard Expansion Activities: Planting, Trellis Installation, Plant Training and Watering
• Vineyard Crew Supervision and Training
• Vineyard Equipment Maintenance
• Transportation (Fruit and Vineyard Equipment/Supplies)
• Harvest

Promotion and Sales Responsibilities Include:

• Tasting Room Sales
• Wine Tours
• Festival Sales

Other Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting in retail sales or special events on occasion
• Assisting with Bottling or other Winery Operations
• Deliveries to retail locations
